Imaqtpie Donated 500 USD For Each Game He Lost On Stream

Yesterday, popular League of Legends player Michael “Imaqtpie” Santana, ran a special stream in which he stated he would giveaway $500 USD for each loss he suffered during his gaming session. How much did he end up giving away? A pretty hefty amount!

After losing 4 times during his numerous games, QT made good on his word and donated a considerable $2250 USD to the popular American charity  “Child’s Play

.” Where’s the extra $250 come from? He ended up dodging one game and threw in half of the $500 for it. QT posted a screencap of the donation page on a tweet he just made a few hours ago.

For those of you who’ve never heard of Child’s Play, the organization is a charity that “seeks to improve the lives of children in pediatric hospitals and other child welfare facilities through the kindness and generosity of the video game community and the power of play.” According to their official site

, the charity has raised over $44 million dollars since its creation in 2003.

QT played a ton of games yesterday and surprisingly won the vast majority of them. Clearly, the guy who’s infamous for “running it down mid” in most of his games decided he was actually going to try for once. If we were seeing the typical feeder QT, he’d easily have donated twice or three times that number.

There was a rising thread up on the League of Legends subreddit on this story, but it’s since been removed due to not having followed the rules for screenshots. While the image attached to the thread has been deleted, if you’re interested in seeing what others have been saying about it, you can still check out the discussion right here.
