Yoshi Switch Game Title Leaked

Due to a powerful earthquake in Hokkaido, yesterday’s episode of Nintendo Direct was postponed to a later date. There might have been a bit of miscommunication over at headquarters as certain parts of the Nintendo site still went up according to schedule, giving fans a brief glimpse of what’s to come. The title of the new Yoshi Switch game appeared for a short period of time before the company realized their error and took it down.

As IGN reports, numerous people have reported seeing the game, called “Yoshi’s Crafted World” appear on the Nintendo site. Before the listing was removed, many fans were able to grab a quick screenshot. Here’s what they saw.

On Twitter, @TheOGEVG shared a screenshot of the title appearing as a suggested game while looking at the details for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

What’s interesting to note about this example and others that have popped up, is the fact that all of them have seen the game appear only as a recommendation off of the SSBU page. It isn’t clear if the game page itself had any other information. Clicking on the link of the new Yoshi title seems like what you’d expect the average gamer to do in this situation. So far, it seems like either no one has done it, or nobody has reported on what had happened after doing so.

At this point, it’s looking like we won’t get any further news until Nintendo announces when they’re planning to restream Nintendo Direct. When they reveal the new date, we’ll be sure to update you. Stay tuned!
