New Jump Force Trailer Shows Footage Of Playable Bleach Characters

A new trailer for the anime-based fighting game Jump Force has been released. The new trailer doesn’t provide a whole lot of info but has finally revealed footage of a few Bleach characters will be in the game. The ones that will be in the game are Ichigo, Rukia, and Lord Aizen. All 3 of them were already confirmed to be in the game and playable but we had yet to see any footage.

All the characters that will be in the game are all popular characters from manga series that are or have been published in the weekly magazine called Shounen Jump. So far we have seen quite a variety of characters already that include Luffy and Zoro from One Piece, Goku and Frieza from Dragon Ball, Naruto and Sasuke from Naruto, and the three characters from Bleach. Light Yagami and Ryuk from Death Note will also make an appearance in the game although they have been confirmed to be supporting characters and not playable ones.

What’s also interesting to note is that the Bleach characters are wearing the outfits that they were wearing in the final arc of the series called the Thousand-Year Blood War. This arc was never fully adapted in the anime series which still makes a lot of Bleach fans quite salty, but at least they can enjoy the outfits now when playing Jump Force.

The game itself looks like a lot of fun to play if you’re a fan of shounen anime. It definitely caters to an audience of anime fans more than that is caters to traditional fighting game fans. While the game looks like a whole bunch of fun to play, you shouldn’t expect a whole lot of depth in the mechanics. Each button on the controller is linked to a combo that the fighter will automatically pull off. This makes it so that even novices can use the fighter’s most iconic moves.

No specific release date has been set for the game yet but it is expected to be released somewhere during the next year.
