The release of Nintendo Switch 2 has sparked interest among many game developers and publishers to bring their titles to this new platform. One such company is Square Enix, which plans to launch Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on Nintendo Switch 2.
Recently, Square Enix announced that the performance of the Switch 2 version of FFVII Remake Intergrade runs at only 30 FPS.
FFVII Remake Intergrade Switch 2 Performance Only Runs at 30FPS

Square Enix has announced on their official X (formerly Twitter) account that the Switch 2 version of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will only run at 30 frames per second. This update is expected to be available this winter.
Square Enix also reminded players that the RPG game will focus on offering “sharp graphics” instead of a higher frame rate. You can see their announcement below.
Gamer Reactions

Square Enix’s announcement didn’t get the warmest reception from gamers, especially those who own the Nintendo Switch 2. Some of them even compared it to Cyberpunk 2077 on the Switch 2, claiming that it reportedly runs at around 40 frames per second.
It’s understandable that gamers are disappointed with the low frame rate in Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. After all, this remake is a straightforward, story-driven game set in a world that’s less vast and less detailed compared to the expansive, richly developed universe of Cyberpunk 2077.
Despite that, many of them seem eager to start playing Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on the new Switch 2. Having this game available just adds to the growing list of awesome titles found on Nintendo’s next-gen console.
