The developer of Arena Breakout Infinite – Gamescom 2024 is currently underway with many developers and publishers showcasing and announcing the latest information about the games they are developing or planning to release.

One of the games featured at the event was Arena Breakout: Infinite. This game is currently in early access and has faced accusations and complaints from players who consider it to be Pay-to-Win (P2W). The developer has now responded to these concerns.

Developers of Arena Breakout Infinite Respond

According to Insider Gaming, the developers of Arena Breakout Infinite have addressed various topics at Gamescom 2024. They discussed upcoming changes and planned additional features.

MoreFun, the developer behind the game, has announced that the full release is expected this year. Additionally, the developer addressed controversies, including accusations from players that the game is Pay-to-Win (P2W).

Discussing the topic, Enzo Zhang, the leader of MoreFun Studios, mentioned that all microtransactions will focus on cosmetics and that a battle pass will be introduced in the future.

He clarified that players “can” access all in-game features, and this game is not “grindy” or time-consuming for gathering resources. In fact, he believes it’s easy to do.

Users can still purchase in-game currency from Arena Breakout: Infinite. The development team emphasizes that this game is not pay-to-win, contrary to recent discussions.

Developer Explains That Game Lacks Cross-Play

The developer touched on other subjects, including the planned console release. MoreFun clarified that while the console version will offer a similar experience, it unfortunately will not support cross-play.

This means that players of the game Arena Breakout Infinite on the PC platform will not be able to encounter players on console platforms, ensuring that matches remain balanced and fair.

Besides the lack of a cross-play feature, the developers also stated that they have no intention of adding a PvE mode or an Offline mode, even though the AI system for enemies and NPCs is quite innovative and could facilitate these features.

Certainly, this game has a roadmap developed by the creators at Arena Breakout Infinite. Moreover, if the development team claims that this game is designed as an “Extraction Shooter for everyone,” it clearly takes casual players’ gameplay into consideration.
