The modding community in GTA games has been a fresh breath of air, helping to keep the game alive, especially in GTA Online. Rockstar, the developer of the game, has even shown full support to some modders, such as the GTA Roleplay modder “Cfx.re,” whom they officially acquired last year.
And it seems that the friendliness towards modders will continue with GTA 6. The publisher, Take-Two, who is responsible for the release of this game, has also expressed their excitement about the arrival of this new GTA mod.
Take-Two Enthusiastic About GTA 6 Mods

Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two, was asked for his thoughts on modding and user-generated content. Zelnick expressed that they are very open and indeed very excited about anything users bring to the table in their engagement with the games they develop and other titles.
Below is a statement from Strauss Zelnick:
“Clearly, we are very excited about what we see in modding for the community, for GTA, and we find it fascinating. Ultimately, entertainment companies must deliver exceptional entertainment to consumers. That’s the starting point.”
Despite this, the CEO of Tale-Two does not believe that user-generated content will be able to dominate the gaming industry. However, for certain titles like Roblox, for instance, he considers it more of a platform rather than a digital entertainment title.

However, the CEO stated that if players wish to modify and enhance GTA 6 for personal use, he will continue to support it while protecting their assets and intellectual property.
The year 2025 is set to be highly anticipated by gamers who have long awaited the release of the new GTA title. Grand Theft Auto 6 has been officially announced to launch in the fall of next year for PC, Playstation 5, and Xbox platforms.
