The Steam Autumn Sale Is Now Live With Some Great Deals

As the last few auburn leaves are making their deathly descent to the moist ground below, Steam’s annual autumnal sale is upon us and in full swing from today. The time has once again come to throw money at games we’ll probably never end up playing all in the name of a great deal. And deals this sale sure has; quite a few of them as a matter of fact.

The Steam Autumn Sale runs for six days from today until November 27th and as is customary with these things, prices have been slashed on the overwhelming majority of games on Valve’s digital distribution platform.

Grand Theft Auto V is being slashed by 34%, while the entire Fallout Franchise benefits from 50%-75% discounts across the board. Civilization VI

is a crazy 70% off. Indie games fare best in these types of sales with huge reductions; for example you can pick up the excellent Moonlighter for a fraction of the full retail price and the older the game, the cheaper the price. Cities: Skylines and the first episode of the recently released Life Is Strange 2 are currently the price of a decent cup of coffee.

In conjunction with the sale, Steam is running its yearly answer to The Game Awards, The Steam Awards. As usual, the various categories up for grabs carry creative names and are as fantastical as usual with awards such as The Most Fun With A Machine and The Best Environment.

Treat yourself, but remember to spend responsibly.
