Everyone’s favorite overpowered Pokémon, Mewtwo, will be departing from Pokémon Go raids in less than 24 hours. Today is literally your last chance to catch one from raids if you haven’t done so already.
According to Gamespot, the infamous legendary Pokémon is set to leave raids October 23rd 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET, giving players roughly 15 hours or so at the time of writing to catch one. Originally an EX raid only Pokémon, he was since demoted last month to becoming acquirable in normal raids. Despite his increased availability, actually capturing Mewtwo still remains a tough battle with tons of players making numerous attempts to catch one and still failing.
Some of the best Pokémon who you should consider bringing to take him down are bug, dark, and ghost type Pokémon which are strong versus psychic types. In this case, Scizor, Tyranitar and Gengar are some of your strongest picks to battle Mewtwo.
Once you beat him, you’re still not done yet – landing a Pokéball might be just as difficult, if not even more difficult than the actual fight. Here’s a pretty good video that gives a rundown of how to best increase your odds at successfully grabbing one.
If you’re still struggling to catch one, Gamerant also has a good guide with more tips and tricks on making Mewtwo yours.
The clock is ticking… best of luck to everyone!
