Elon Musk tweets out of a lot of weird stuff. This is the guy who cost his company billions of dollars when he tweeted that he was taking Tesla private.
Am considering taking Tesla private at $420. Funding secured.

Not only did this post essentially put his company through the worst 2 weeks ever, he also ended up getting demoted as result of the tweet and was forced to pay the SEC $20 million in fines for securities fraud.
Needless to say, Musk uses Twitter too much and should probably stop. His latest Twitter fiasco has him referring to all Fortnite gamers as “eternal virgins” who can only be saved by him effectively buying out Epic Games and shutting them down. Check out the tweet below.

I get that this is a joke news article and that the whole idea is to get some laughs. Maybe if Twitter was around in the early 2000’s, this would’ve been funny to a sizable population in the US. In 2018, it just comes off as out-of-touch and gives us yet another example as to how Musk can’t control the words that come out of his mouth – or fingers.
Back in July when Musk got “involved” in the rescue of the Thai boys trapped in an underwater cave, he called out a British rescue diver on Twitter saying:
“You know what, don’t bother showing the video. We will make one of the mini-sub/pod going all the way to Cave 5 no problemo. Sorry pedo guy, you really did ask for it.”
While the original post has since been deleted, he ended up getting sued by the diver for libel.
Musk tries a bit too hard to be cool, and he’s clearly too out of touch to know how to do that. If you’re going to talk about Fortnite, at least attempt to learn something about it before you make a fool out of yourself one more time.
