In the Battle Royale mode named Blackout of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Treyarch features a very familiar system of Battle Royale games – Perks.

However, perks in Blackout are in the form of limited time consumables. Let’s get to know all 14 perks of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode.

1. Perk: Consumer

  • Uses: 1
  • Duration: 5 minutes
  • Description: It takes 50% less time to use a consumable and to heal. This perk would help you a lot when enemies are nearby and you need to heal yourself urgently.

2. Perk: Dead Silence

  • Uses: 2
  • Duration: 4 minutes
  • Description: Makes walking, running, looting cause less noise. Sound is an important aspect of gameplay hence this perk is really impactful.

3. Perk: Iron Lung

  • Uses: 2
  • Duration: 5 minutes
  • Description: Increases how long you can hold breath to dive or to reduce scope sway while using Tactical Rifle. The perk is useful in long range combat and when you are on the run from your enemies by sea.

4. Perk: Looter

  • Uses: 3
  • Duration: 2 minutes
  • Description: Gives you unobstructed visual of anything you can loot on the ground and all crates nearby. This perk saves you a lot of time searching for weapons and other necessary stuff. You would also be able to know if there was enemy, ally knocked out somewhere around you.

5. Perk: Reinforced

  • Description: Reduces damage taken from fire and grenade/other explosive weapons, increases resistance against stun grenade and barbed wire. The perk works best when you are under pressure from enemies, hiding or trying to get through enemies’ defense.

6. Perk: Medic

  • Duration: 4 minutes
  • Description: It takes less time to heal yourself and allies, medic kits, HP recovery consumables would give user more HP, allies that got revived would receive an bonus amount of HP. Make use of this perk punctually to get the best out of it.

7. Perk: Outlander

  • Uses: 2
  • Duration: 3 minutes
  • Description: Increases movement speed and reduces damage taken when you are outside of “the circle”. You can totally make clutch plays with this perk.

8. Perk: Awareness

  • Uses: 2
  • Duration: 2 minutes
  • Description: Increases volume of enemies’ footstep sound. This perk works perfectly with Dead Silence.

9. Perk: Paranoia

  • Uses: 2
  • Duration: 4 minutes
  • Description: Alerts you when you are in enemies’ aiming down sights (ADS). This is a good perk for when you move on an open field without anything to hide behind and for when you feel like someone is following you.

10. Perk: Skulker

  • Uses: 3
  • Duration: 3 minutes
  • Description: Increases movement speed while crouching (should be as fast as running speed). This makes a perfect combo with Looter and Dead Silence, increases your mobility on open fields.

11. Perk: Mobility

  • Uses: 1
  • Duration: 5 minutes
  • Description: Makes you run faster, switch weapon faster and take no damage when land on the ground from high above; allows you to shoot or use equipment while running, boosts your movement speed while reloading.

12. Perk: Engineer

  • Uses: 2
  • Duration: 4 minutes
  • Description: Gives you unobstructed visual of enemies’ vehicles, equipment. With this perk, you can know in advance if someone is around or know a vehicle’s position to use.

13. Perk: Brawler

  • Uses: 1
  • Duration: 4 minutes
  • Description: Increases damage of melee attacks, heals you 50 HP for every successful hit. It can help you a lot while fighting zombies.

14. Perk: Squad Link

  • Uses: 2
  • Duration: 2 minutes
  • Description: Gives you unobstructed visual of your teammates to quickly know where they are. This perk is only available in Duo/Quad mode.
