今日（8 月 27 日）於佛羅里拉州一處綜合購物中心舉辦的 Madden NFL 19 的比賽中，發生槍擊案造成 3 死 11 傷，11 名傷者並無生命危險，已在醫院休養。

犯罪嫌疑人經過警方調查，是本次比賽參賽選手之一的大衛，不過他在犯案後舉槍自盡，而是否有其他嫌疑人，警方尚在調查中。
本場 Madden NFL 19 的比賽，在多個平台上進行直播，而事發當時，不少線上觀眾都聽到從螢幕傳來的槍聲

而 Madden 社群中的名人 Problem Wright 也發表推特表示遺憾，遊戲公司 EA 美商藝電和實況主 Ninja 也對此事發表推特。

而白宮秘書長也表示總統川普已經知悉此事，而佛羅里達州州長也已經與川普通過電話，這次的槍擊過後，有關槍枝的議題必定又會再一次被提起。
