First Look Of Claire Redfield In Resident Evil 2 Remake

In a big reveal at gamescom, we finally get our first looks at Claire Redfield in Resident Evil 2 Remake! For those of you who’ve never played the original RE2, along with Leon S. Kennedy, Claire is one of the major protagonists of the game. She enters the zombie-infested Racoon City to find her missing brother, Chris. Her search takes her to the police department where she encounters a young girl named Sherry who is hiding from some very nasty monsters.

Without further ado, here are some screenshots from this story arc directly from Capcom.

The graphics look incredible! Claire Redfield and Sherry look so realistic that you might mistake them for being actual actresses at quick glance. The screenshots look as though they could’ve came directly from a live-action movie.

The revealed images also show an impressive use of lighting and shadows. Capcom seems to be trying to bring the series back to its horror genre roots and the team they have working on the lighting clearly knows what they’re doing. There’s no doubt that Resident Evil 2 will be able to recreate the legendary thrills and scares that the original game managed to do so many years ago.
