Blizzard is making the PC version of its hit game “Overwatch” free to play for this weekend. From now until July 30th, not only is the game free to play, but all 28 currently available heroes will also be unlocked. Anyone who hasn’t gotten into Overwatch but have been thinking about checking it out should definitely use this opportunity to give the game a shot.

Anyone joining for the weekend can use the completely unlocked roster of heroes in a variety of specific game modes. These include: Quick Play, Custom Games, and the Arcade. The limited free weekend event will also allow players to level up, earn loot boxes, and unlock a ton of different customization options such as victory poses, emotes, and skins.

Best of all, if you enjoyed the experience, you get to keep anything you unlocked. All you have to do is make sure you use the same Blizzard account you played on.

Blizzard is launching this free weekend to coincide directly with the Overwatch League Grand Finals event which is this weekend July 27-28 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. All 19,000 seats in the massive arena have already been sold out! Needless to say, Blizzard has done a fantastic job hyping up one of their most unique games.

Again, if you’ve missing out on the action so far, this weekend is your best chance to see what everyone’s excited about. It’s worth noting, however, that cross-platform play is not available. So if you’ve got friends playing the console version, you won’t be able to play with them during this free weekend.

More details about how to sign up can be found at their official announcement page right here.
