Item Changes
In order to further balance gameplay for crit-based ADCs, Riot also made some adjustments to common items used by these champions.
Stormrazor:
- Build path changed.
BF Sword + Pickaxe + Dagger +725 goldto BF Sword + Pickaxe + Dagger + Dagger + 425 gold. While the build path changed, the total cost remains the same at 3200 gold. - Crit damage calculation changed. 160-200% (at 0-60% crit chance) to 160-200% (at 0-30% crit chance).
Brawler’s Gloves:
- Cost reduced.
600 goldto 400 gold.
Zeal:
- Combine cost increased.
400 goldto 600 gold. Total cost remains the same at 1300 gold.
Hopefully these changes allow crit-based ADCs to be a bit more viable. Given how different this season has felt so far comparatively speaking, it would be nice to bring back something players were once accustomed to seeing – ranged ADs in the bot lane. While the key details are all covered here, if you’re interested in seeing the entire list of changes this patch, here’s Riot’s official update announcement.
