We the Writers of, in order to form a better Idea of analogue-style mobile MOBA Games, establish an adequate Resource for such, insure the Permanency of such a Resource, provide for the Entertainment of the Masses through such Games, and to secure the Blessings of Gaming to Ourselves and our Posterity, do hereby ordain and establish this Listicle of Five Analogue-Styled MOBA Games For Android and iOS for the United Gamers of the Internet. *O SAY CAN YOU SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE…*

1. BarbarQ

Compared to typical 5v5 analogue-style MOBA, this Electronic Soul game features more uniqueness than you can shake a stick at. A 3v3v3 layout is in full effect, which means along with your two teammates, you’ll be facing a horde of six other people! The six theming is also continued vis-a-vis time (aka you only have six minutes each time you play). With cute character designs and a retro 2D point of view, what’s not to like?

2. Flame X Blaze

The renaissance of analogue MOBAs has spurred Square Enix to develop Flame x Blaze. With chibi-like character designs and the graphics you’ve come to expect from Square Enix, this 3v3v3 MOBA is sure to please. You’ll have two choice at the very start of the game: either kill some monsters first or storm an enemy base, Leeroy Jenkins-style. You know what to pick, don’t you? DON’T YOU?

3. Ace of Arenas

Featured at E3 a mere three years ago, this DoTA-esque game combines the traditional 3v3v3 arrangement with eximious graphic effects. Offline mode makes sure you can play against bots and hone your skills even without an Internet connection.

4. Onmyoji: Battle! Heian-Kyo

Fans of Onmyoji are sure to love this spin-off. Transplanting characters from the RPG into a analogue-styled MOBA world, NetEase is aiming to capitalize on the former’s success. With four skill slots and and eighteen levels to get your character through, the game is tantalizing. However, you’re gonna have to wait a skosh for it to be available in English!

5. Light X Shadow

A winning combination of MOBA and anime, this title exemplifies the very best of the Chinese gaming industry. With innovative features such as GTA V-styled character switches with a window open every three minutes or so, to the pet that follows you around, what’s not to love?
