The third week of season 4 has begun for Fortnite and with its start comes the release of a new set of challenges for Battle Pass holders. Season 4 introduced us to a new type of challenge called “Blockbusters,” where players receive additional rewards for fully completing all challenges. The past two weeks contained a blockbuster reward that gave players a new loading screen. Most players would probably be happy just getting a new fancy screen, but Epic Games being a big fan of Easter eggs
Weeks one and two featured hints that led players running around specific zones to find free Battle Pass tiers. Week three is continuing that trend with another secret hidden in the new loading screen.
At first glance it just looks like four heroes observing a holographic map. However, if you pay particular attention to the little island a bit west of the center of the screen, you might notice a feint outline of a Battle Pass. Here’s a close-up view.
Now comparing the location to the game map, we get something that looks like this:
After completing all of this week’s challenges, you can head over to the marked area and pick up a free Battle Pass tier!
I have to say, I’m really a big fan of how Epic Games has put together these challenges and their respective rewards. The huge amount of Easter eggs are one of my favorite things about the game.
