《要塞英雄》最近迎來第 10 賽季，隨著新賽季的到來 Epic Games 也跟著推出一波新造型來收割玩家荷包，今天稍早商店上架了一個狗狗背包 Skin「Gunner」，不過卻引起眾多玩家暴怒，罵 Epic Games 根本是複製舊造型拿出來騙錢。

就在新版本改版當日，Epic Games 在《Fortnite》宣傳遊戲裡的背包新造型「Gunner」，讓你背著一隻名叫 Gunner 狗狗的背包闖蕩。不過，有眼睛的玩家一看就會發現，這隻「Gunner」舊通行證（Battle Pass）送的狗狗背包「Bonesy」幾乎一模一樣。Reddit 玩家 PhantomRacer32 將兩隻狗狗模組截圖並排，就可以發現牠們幾乎是複製品，只有毛色、瞳孔顏色、和圍巾上的小變化而已。
最重要的是，這個「Gunner」狗狗背包售價是 1,000 V 幣（49 的遊戲幣），約 300 台幣左右，把過去通行證包含的造型幾乎原封不動的抽出來單賣，立即引來玩家撻伐，更有些玩家直指官方這種作法是斂財行為。

在這個複製 Skin 遭到砲轟種多玩家砲轟後，海外媒體 Eurogamer 獲得 Epic 官方聲明，Epic Games 表示他們不應將「Gunner」上架，向玩家致歉並移除該商品，並且在任何期間購買「Gunner」商品的玩家將會移除「Gunner」並退還 1000 V 幣與額外 200 V 幣作為補償。
We should not have released the Gunner Pet and apologize for doing so. Within the next couple of days, all purchases of Gunner will be refunded for the full amount of 1000 V-bucks as well as an additional 200 V-bucks and the Pet will be removed from the Locker.
