The latest news comes from The Sims Mobile, the mobile version of The Sims game developed by Electronic Arts (EA). Recently, an official statement was released confirming that EA will be closing the servers of the game, which has been available online for the past seven years.

Details about this announcement include information such as which game features will remain accessible and the official date when the servers will be shut down.

Details of The Sims Mobile Server Shutdown

, Monday (October 20th), EA announced the final update for The Sims Mobile on Android and iOS devices. Starting from that date, all players will receive unlimited energy thanks to the system, allowing them to enjoy the game before it ultimately shuts down.

On that same date, players were no longer permitted to purchase anything with real-world money in the game’s shop. Although the shop become inaccessible, players could still use their remaining SimCash, Simoleons, or Tickets until January 20, 2026.

Mobile has officially been removed from the App Store.
