One of the things fans of Tekken 8 have been eagerly waiting for in each new update is how the game balances its characters—whether through tweaks to their abilities or even changes to their fighting mechanics.
This time, things seem to be a bit different. The main focus of the V2.05 update is on fixing bugs and making adjustments to the shapes and sizes of the female characters’ busts.

It’s been observed that the bug appeared after the release of the Beach Fun Pack DLC (red). Specifically, it caused all the female characters to have the same body shape and breast size, especially when they were dressed in revealing outfits.
Continuous Adjustments for Asuka Kazama

Since Tekken 8 was released earlier this year in 2024, fans have noticed that parts of Asuka’s body—such as her neck, shoulders, and arms—appear larger than in previous games. To address this, the development team plans to make gradual adjustments so that Asuka’s appearance can better match her earlier versions, ensuring consistency with her past designs.
The producer explained that they couldn’t make adjustments to all parts of her body, as doing so might cause the model to become unstable during gameplay. For now, only Asuka’s neck has been fine-tuned.
