Pokémon TCG Pocket to Introduce Mythical Island Booster Pack
On its official YouTube channel, Pokemon TCG Pocket has launched a new trailer. The video provides details about the release of their upcoming Booster Pack, titled Mythical Island. This Booster Pack is scheduled to be released on December 17, 2024.
As the second Booster Pack available in the game, this pack will include around 80 cards. Among these cards, there are 5 EX Pokemon Cards, with 3 of them being Mew EX, Celeby EX, and Aerodactile EX, as well as 5 new trainer cards. Besides the EX and Trainer cards, the trailer also showcased several other cards, including:
- Mew ex
- Aerodactyl ex
- Celebi ex
- Dedenne
- Vaporeon
- Leaf (Supporter)
- Blue (Supporter)
- Tauros
- Marshadow
- Exeggcute
- Magmar
- Morelull
- Snivy
- Larvesta
- Dhelmise
- Pikachu
Here are some Pokémon that appear in the trailer, though they are not featured as cards:
- Liepard
- Serperior
- Magikarp
- Gyarados
- Mankey
- Rapidash
- Volcarona
- Salandit
- Stonjourner
- Beheeyem
- Exeggutor
From the various cards, some were already available in the previous Genetic Apex Booster Pack, such as Pikachu, Tauros, and Magmar. It is quite likely that they will return with new artwork in this second pack.
Previous Booster Packs Remain Accessible
As the release of the new Booster Pack approaches, many players are wondering if they will still be able to access the previous Booster Packs in the future. Regarding this matter, the official TCP Pocket Japan account on X/Twitter has confirmed that the previous packs will not be removed from the game.
Additionally, within the game, there is an option to switch between different booster pack tabs. Given this, you can technically use the Hourglass Pack you previously collected to open this new pack.
