Apex Legends kicked off season 22 by introducing a new map called E-District along with some exciting features, including Dual Wield or Akimbo for the Mozambique and P2020 weapons.

Unfortunately, the Dual Wield feature encountered a game-breaking bug. This prompted Respawn, the developer, to act swiftly to fix the Dual Wield bug in Apex Legends. What exactly is the bug?

Bug Dual Wield in Apex Legends

This Dual Wield Bug in Apex Legends is caused by the Champion named Ballistic. This character has a skill that allows him to store weapons in a sling he uses, enabling him to carry more weapons.

Unfortunately, due to the Akimbo mod, a bug occurred where if the akimbo weapons were holstered and switched quickly, Ballistic could dual wield other weapons alongside the Mozambique or P2020 handguns.

Furthermore, when reloading and switching weapons, two guns that deal double damage will be equipped in the player’s right hand. Naturally, this significantly increases the weapon’s damage output.

Due to this issue, Respawn acted swiftly to fix the dual wield bug in Apex Legends. Other bugs were also addressed, including those affecting Caustic, Wattson, and Horizon.

Netizens Respond with Complaints about Map Rotation

Netizens have reacted to the announcement from Respawn. Many are still complaining about a bug that prevents loot from appearing in the new E-District map. Additionally, they are unhappy with the map rotation, as E-District was replaced by Broken Moon too quickly.

The players seem to strongly dislike Broken Moon and prefer to play in E-District. This sentiment is evident from the complaints of Team Solo Mid (TSM) professional player Albralelie, who responded to Respawn’s tweet.

According to Albralelie, he questioned the extremely flawed map rotation and asked Respawn to remove them from the map that is hated by everyone (Broken Moon) and bring them back to the promised land (E-District).

Another Twitter user made a similar comment, expressing a desire for the Broken Moon map to be replaced with E-District, as this season marks the debut of that particular map.

Respawn has now fixed the bug for all platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch. As for other bugs, Respawn has not yet confirmed any fixes for Apex Legends.
