自去年 4 月，《英雄聯盟》官方向外公佈將在 S9 實裝位置積分後便引起玩家都連聲抱怨。經過長達半年的改善後，Riot 仍然堅持推出位置積分，並表示已經對玩家提出的雙排換位問題做出預防措施，但是 S9 積分系統的現況證明，積分系統在匹配玩家時仍然會出現顯著差異，原本預期更公平、平衡的積分系統面臨危機。

雙排玩家藉由互換主要路線這個方法，可以被分配至水平較低的積分場，並在遊戲內換回主要位置，藉由系統判定便可以在面對較弱對手的情況下進行遊戲。這個問題在被發現後 Riot 便開始著手解決，然而，傷害已經造成，不少現役、退役職業選手以及教練在推特上希望 Riot 重制 S9 的積分。

退役選手 IWillDominate 表示在 Riot 官方的 Discord 看到 Tyler1 要求重制積分的請求。

終於在昨（2/21）日，官方的開發人員 SapMagic 表示 Riot 正在考慮重制積分，正在研究各地區的問題以及規模，但不保證一定會實施。
