Japanese fans of Nintendo’s star-studded Super Smash Bros. fighting game will be getting a special treat next month – a 63 amiibo set featuring every single character from Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS.

As reported by Japanese Nintendo (via Eurogamer), Amazon Japan will be releasing a special 63 amiibo set on December 7th in celebration of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

‘s release on the same day. This limited edition bundle will include every playable character from Super Smash Bros. Wii U, 3DS, and several already announced characters for Ultimate such as: Inkling, Ridley, King K. Rool, and Piranha Plant.

Right now, information is a bit hazy – it appears only 50 of these bundles will be sold and no price has been revealed just yet on the Amazon listing for the item. Considering that most individual amiibos retail for roughly $14-$15 USD such as Ryu, Roy, and this Bowser

one, a set of 63 should go for at least $900 USD – and that’s without including the special Smash-themed box and poster.

Here’s a picture of all the amiibos including in the set as well as the box and poster.

Right now there’s no telling if the set will even be released outside of Japan. Honestly, it’s already absurd that Nintendo is only selling 50 of these units in their home country, and the idea that they wouldn’t release it overseas is even more ridiculous. The Smash Bros. series is one of the beloved Nintendo franchises and hardcore fans across the globe would undoubtedly love to get their hands on this amiibo set to celebrate the release of Ultimate.

Hopefully Nintendo wises up and does whatever it takes to make this more available around the world.
