Sporting his Dragon Ball Super outfit, Android 17 joins the game as an extremely mobile and speedy fighter. From the brief trailer, we get glimpses of some of the abilities that were revealed by Bandai Namco in their Twitter post about his arrival.

Polygon’s article on Android 17 states that his strongest move is called Super Electric Strike, a “large-scale swirl of energy that can be executed both on the ground and mid-air.” They’ve also stated that Android 17 packs a “Barrier Explosion dash attack and End Game, a sneak attack from behind.”

Again, both Android 17 and Cooler make their way into Dragon Ball FighterZ this Thursday, September 27th. Each DLC fighter will cost $5 USD, unless you’ve already purchased the FighterZ Pass which includes all DLC characters.

Android 17 is the last fighter to make his way into the game this season leaving many netizens to speculate as to what fighters will appear in season 2. There was even a popular survey on Reddit earlier this month in which fans voted for the characters they’d most like to see as season 2 DLC fighters. Needless to say, granddaddy Master Roshi made the top of the list. Come on Bandai Namco, when are we going to see the old man in DBFZ? Do it for the fans!
