9 Trailers From Day One Of Tokyo Game Show 2018

Unlike western-based counterpart conference like E3 and Gamescom that focus predominantly on big money triple A releases, Tokyo Game Show is also home to weird and wonderful of Japanese exclusives. With day one of TGS done and dusted, we’ve already been treated to a glut of trailers for upcoming releases. From indie JRPGs to the usual Square Enix fare, here are nine of the best in convenient listed form for your viewing pleasure.

1. Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy

Wii classic Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo’s Dungeon is getting a sequel on PlayStation 4 and Switch, named Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy. Fresh chocobo fun for those that missed out first time around with the new ability to befriend any creature.

2. Devil May Cry 5

Backed by a thundering death metal soundtrack, the latest trailer for Devil May Cry 5 is chock full of brutal combat as we’ve come to expect from the series. Release is currently set for March 8th 2019.

3. Disaster Report 4 Plus: Summer Memories

Half the fun of TGS trailers is deciphering what is going on. Although we’ll happily admit we haven’t got the foggiest about what’s going on in Disaster Report 4 Plus: Summer Memories, the city landscape devastated by a huge natural disaster is intriguing. We’ve dug a little deeper and Summer Memories is an action-adventure game coming to PlayStation 4 where players have to escape a city in ruins by navigating treacherous terrain, fallen buildings, and a general populace on the verge of mass panic.

4. Final Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition

We found out last week Final Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition was on its way and today we got a meatier glimpse into what the revamped version is set to look like. We have to say it shows its age and we hope the final product is a little more polished.

7. Resident Evil 2 Remake Story Trailer

Oooh, check this out. A fleshed out story trailer (even though we already know what happens) for the seriously exciting Resident Evil 2 Remake. Terrifying, full of gore, nightmarish creatures, and suspenseful just as we like it.

8. Street Fighter II 30th Anniversary Edition

This just makes me feel old. Great for fighting fans who want to revisit the classic Street Fighter II on PlayStation 4. Releases October 25th. This one will ship internationally so no one is left out.
