Dark Souls Trilogy Announced, Features Three Games & All DLC

After the release of Dark Soul Remastered earlier this year, Bandai Namco has opted to compile all three games from their Gothic difficult-as-hell critically acclaimed series into a nifty new anthology type deal.

Aptly named Dark Souls Trilogy it features Dark Souls Remastered, which may be a tough pill to swallow for those who forked out cash back in May for the standalone game. Also included are Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin

and Dark Souls 3: The Fire Fades Edition.

Players will get the chance to get once again well acquainted with the infamous ‘You Died’ screen from those three main line titles, however, the trilogy includes all DLC. Dark Souls gets Artorias of the Abyss, while Dark Souls 2’s Crown of the Sunken King, Crown of the Ivory King, and Crown of the Old Iron King all make the cut. Finally, The Ringed City and Ashes of Ariandel DLCs for Dark Souls 3 are part of the deal too.

Bandai Namco has cooked up a short announcement trailer for the occasion, which you take a gander at below. It’s a broody, terrifying window into the Dark Souls world with snippets from all three games. For anyone who isn’t acquainted with the series, and even those who’ve played for that matter, the ‘Fear not the dark my friend and let the feast begin!’ tag line is sure to get those juices flowing.

Dark Souls Trilogy Announced, Features Three Games & All DLC

Dark Souls Trilogy is a three disc physical-only release packaged in a flashy steel book case adorned with a sword protruding from a roaring fire. Dark Souls Trilogy launches on October 19th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the same day Dark Souls Remastered releases for Nintendo Switch.

Unfortunately, Dark Souls Trilogy will only be sold in the US and Asia, sorry Europe. There are also only limited supplies so those interested are advised to pre-order to avoid disappointment.
