Rockstar games has stated on social media that their highly anticipated game, Red Dead Redemption 2 will be coming out in fall this year, on October 26. Following the trailer released earlier this week, Rockstar has posted numerous jaw-dropping screenshots on their social media accounts as well as providing a little bit of information on what we can expect from them next month.
From the screenshots we can all agree that the game looks absolutely amazing and is begging to be explored. The first game was already praised for it’s beautiful locations and the authentic world, but Red Dead 2 looks to elevate everything up to a new level. From the screenshots it’s clear that Rockstar has put a whole lot of time and effort into the game, which is only fitting for such a hyped up sequel. The screenshots show us gun-slinging and horseback riding, as well as some more relaxing parts of the world, such as the soothing nature and a relaxing night around a fire pit. They also show some of the characters of Dutch’s gang, such as Arthur Morgan, John and of course Dutch himself. The entire world of Red Dead Redemption looks alive and just invites you in.
Although we don’t know much about the game yet, it is clear that it might very well go up against God of War for Game of the Year. Not that we expect anything less than that from Rockstar, given their reputation as one of the best game developers in the world. Red Dead 2 is really looking to go beyond what the original did and give us the sequel we have all been patiently waiting for. With great games such as God of War and Far Cry 5 already released, and Red Dead Redemption 2 coming out in Fall this year, 2018 is shaping up to be another great year for gamers.
