Here’s The Swag Game Companies Give Their Top Employees For Years Of Service
There's been a lot of trophy measuring over at the r/gaming subreddit. Starting with this post that appeared a day ago, in which u/Monroe18 revealed how Sony rewarded him for 5 years of service, other employees of game companies started sharing their own tokens of appreciation received from their respective companies. Here's how game developers such as Ubisoft, Blizzard, EA, and many others rewarded their employees for varying years of service.
1. Sony, 5 years.
This is the original post which started the trend. Redditor u/monroe18 got this well crafted PlayStation controller, complete with a carrying case!
2. EA Games, 20 year celebration.
Redditor u/transformertanooki shared the token of appreciate he received while working at EA Games when they celebrated their 20 year anniversary. Not too shabby EA! What happened to you guys since then?
3. Blizzard Entertainment, 5 years.
This epic-looking sword is what u/Caveat53 received for working at Blizzard for 5 years. Blizzard definitely proving they're on another level here.
4. Blizzard Entertainment, 5 years.
Another Blizzard employee who hit 5 years, u/AirGuitarMatt, shared his own token of appreciation he received from the company. Seeing these two amazing swords back-to-back, it's clear Blizzard sure knows how to pick out a good gift!
5. Activision Blizzard, 15 years.
Blizzard ones again showing they don't mess around. For 15 years of work, this is what u/MaxTurnBull's dad received from the company. Pretty amazing stuff!
6. Bethesda/Zenimax, 5 years.
Bethesda doesn't lose out to these other developers either. This solid gift is what u/thegamerpad received for working at Bethesda/Zenimax for 5 years.
7. Ubisoft, 10 years.
10 years at Ubisoft netted u/CaptFishmouth this heavy statue of a raving Rabbid.
8. Sony, 10 years.
Back to where we began - here's what u/mrheynow received for working at Sony for 10 years. Not sure if this is actually a step up from the 5 year controller, but it's still quite classy nonetheless.
And those are the big tokens of appreciation game developers have been gifting employees for their hard work. Oh and then there's this joke post ha.
All in all, these game companies have given out some great stuff. From the looks of it, it seems they do a great job recognizing and rewarding hard work. It would be interesting to see what other game companies like Riot Games or Epic gift their employees. Maybe we'll find out in the next few days!
