PUBG Officially Releases For PlayStation 4 On December 7th

Corroborating reports that surfaced last week and long-standing rumors, PUBG Corp has confirmed the PlayStation 4 version of PUBG will launch on December 7th.

Confirmation of the imminent release of the popular 100-man battle royale came in the form of an explosive trailer marrying live action and in-game footage matched to an evocative orchestral soundtrack.

Relying on established, and now iconic, PUBG emblems, the lead character shifts from acquiring the frying pan, ghillie suit, and the all-elusive winner chicken dinner in-game only for them to appear in real-life in his front room. That mound of fried chicken doesn’t look exactly appetizing though.

To mark the occasion and to tempt PlayStation 4 owners into forking out cash for a pre-order

, PUBG Corp are throwing in an exclusive Nathan Drake desert outfit skin, and The Last of Us protagonist Ellie’s backpack, a level 2 item. Pre-orders also bank the Unknown Avatar and the Miramar PlayStation 4 menu theme.

As expected, a PlayStation Plus subscription is required to play PUBG on PlayStation 4.
