Whimsical farming sim Stardew Valley is making the jump to yet another platform with a mobile version for both iOS and Android. The former is scheduled for release on October 24th. That’s only two weeks away!

The news was announced by solo developer Eric Barone of Concerned Ape fame in a post on the Stardew Valley website late yesterday. He reveals the port is being developed by London based mobile developer The Secret Police with publishing duties carried out by Chucklefish. The Android version is still in development with the Secret Police applying the finishing touches for a release in the not too distant future.

The mobile version of Stardew Valley includes all the single player splendor of the PC version from an identical map, to townsfolk, and storyline up to date with the latest 1.3 content patch released earlier th is year. The only difference is the game has been rejigged to suit the rigors of touch screen input in the form of fresh menus, UI, and of course controls. Unfortunately, multiplayer isn’t included nor are there plans for it to be.

Progress can be carried over from the PC version via a quick maneuver with iTunes, though modded save games aren’t supported due to compatibility concerns.

In the same post, Barone was quick to reassure fans that the development of multiplayer for other platforms hasn’t been affected by work on the the mobile port ‘as they are being worked on by two entirely separate teams/companies’. The Switch version is well on its way with QA testing currently being conducted, while PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are on the horizon.

Stardew Valley mobile is available for pre-order right now on the App Store.
