Life Of Strange 2 Reveal Trailers Sheds More Light On The Game

A new trailer for Life is Strange 2 has been released that sheds some more light on what we can expect of the game. In the first teaser trailer we got a glimpse of what we could expect from the game, but now with the new trailer and additional info on their site, we finally know what the story is about.

As you can see in the trailer, the story will revolve around two brothers called Sean and Daniel Diaz who are on the run from the police after a tragic disaster occurred in their lives. The brothers are threatened to be separated from each other and will be put in prison if caught by the police so they decide to make a run for it. The plan is to head to Mexico and for them to find a better life in their family’s hometown of Puerto Lobo.

You will be playing the game as the older brother, Sean, and you will be responsible for yourself as well as for your little brother, Daniel. Life is Strange 2 will put you in charge of making a ton of difficult decisions just like the first Life is Strange game. These decisions will have an impact on the story and all of them are final. Since you’re traveling with 2 people, the decisions are even more difficult as you will have to essentially decide for two. According to the developers, most of the decisions will be ones that we can relate to just like the first Life is Strange.

Life is Strange 2 will also feature a new superpower that has so far not been explicitly explained by the developers, however, from what we can gather from the trailer it seems to be some sort of power that can push people around and even flip over an entire police car. Furthermore, Dontnod has also stated that the game will contain a whole bunch of other new features although all of these will be explained over the course of the next week.

Dontnod has stated that we can expect actual gameplay footage from Life of Strange 2 to be uploaded to their YouTube channel in the upcoming few days which will give us a closer look at the new game. Furthermore, if you’re attending Gamescom 2018 you will be able to play the opening scene by yourself. The first chapter will release on September 27th for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One and can be pre-ordered here.
