Not too long ago, we showed you what some of the top media companies were saying about the new Nintendo Labo. In case you haven’t heard, it’s impressing people all over the world with the huge number of creations that can be made from simply combining cardboard with Nintendo Switch pieces. Yesterday, some more big names showed off their appreciation for the Labo on the “Tonight Show.”
What happens when you combine the musical talent of Ariana Grande, Jimmy Fallon, and The Roots with Nintendo Labo instruments? You get this musical masterpiece:
That was the group performing Grande’s latest single “No Tears Left To Cry” through the use of instruments entirely made from Nintendo Labo kit. For instruments literally made of cardboard, that looked and sounded great! The performance definitely showcased the massive creative potential of the Labo.
On a side note, this isn’t the very first time Ariana Grande has worked with the gaming industry. If you don’t play Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, you may not know that she actually did a collaboration with Square Enix
Jimmy Fallon has also featured other gaming related segments in his show. One of the most memorable times being when he had legendary Mario creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, come on to perform the Mario theme song with the Roots.
Given how big a Nintendo fan Fallon is, hopefully this isn’t the last time we see him do a musical performance with the Labo. How about a Red Hot Chili Pepper + Labo show? That would be the dream!
