In addition to complaints about its short battery life, there seems to be evidence that the only rear camera on the iPhone Air can also develop fogging. Could this be a defect in the unit?
iPhone Air Camera Foggy After Just One Day of Use

A user on Reddit shared a photo of their newly purchased iPhone Air, taken just a day earlier, showing that the rear camera was fogged up. It appears that this issue is not unique to just one person. YouTuber Luke Miani also posted a picture of his iPhone Air on X (formerly Twitter)
The same issue was experienced by a user named Dongle
Clearly, this situation seems to happen quite frequently and is one of the reasons why people might reconsider purchasing the latest super-slim, high-end iPhone this year. Although foggy or steamed-up camera lenses are common issues in other smartphones, it’s quite surprising that such a problem occurred on an iPhone, which is claimed to be the most durable model made by Apple to date.
Although it’s still too early to say that this incident has become widespread or can happen to anyone, it’s still wise to stay cautious. If you own an iPhone Air, the recommended step is to follow Apple’s advice by allowing the device to dry out naturally. If you haven’t experienced this issue yet, avoid rapidly shifting the phone between hot and cold environments. At least until Apple develops an official fix for this problem.
